Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
We don't sell your personal information. To see which of our ads work, we tell Meta (Facebook and Instagram) when someone opens one of our quizzes and answers its first question, signs up, starts a checkout, starts a trial or buys. California and several other US states call this "sharing" for advertising, and you can opt out.
What Meta gets
- A scrambled (SHA-256 hashed) copy of your email address (once you've given it), of your customer number and of your quiz visit's random number
- If you came from a Meta ad, the click identifier from its link and when you first arrived
- Your browser's type (its user agent)
- Your IP address, and your approximate location worked out from it (country, state, city and postal code), the location scrambled the same way
- What happened (a quiz opened, its first answer, a sign-up, a checkout, a trial, a membership or a purchase) and when, and for a checkout, a membership or a purchase the amount and currency
- The address of the quiz page, which says nothing about you
Never your quiz answers, your health information (your measurements, goals, conditions, medicines or check-ins) or anything you typed. Meta uses it to report on our ads and to show them to people likely to be interested.
How to opt out
- Turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser: we treat it as an opt-out, automatically.
- Or press the button below. It opts out this browser, and if you enter the email address you used with us, your account too.
In the EU, the UK and other countries whose laws ask for consent first, we share nothing unless you said yes when we asked. The privacy policy has the details, or email support@fitvee.com.
